Brand-New Computers for Kids in Cat Lake Courtesy of the Sprucegrove Foundation

A big Chi-Miigwetch to the Sprucegrove Foundation for their donation of brand new laptops, computer mice and headsets for Northern Indigenous students.

When the new equipment arrived in Cat Lake and Keewaywin First Nation, they made quite the splash. Kids of all ages were eager to try out the new technology for schoolwork, socializing and creative passions.

For many of these youths, owning a new laptop would be an impossible dream due to economic challenges, geographic isolation and an extremely limited supply. Thanks to Sprucegrove, this dream has become a reality for dozens of kids across Northern Ontario.
