Mikinakoos Children's Fund Launches $15,000 Fundraiser for GivingTuesday

The Mikinakoos Children's Fund is excited to announce a special fundraiser in celebration of GivingTuesday. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to provide essential winter clothing to not one, but eighteen First Nation communities. We're working with the the KO First Nations, the Keewaytinook Internet Highschools, and Fort Hope First Nation, to purchase over 1500 coats for children of these communities. Mikinakoos is on a mission to keep young hearts warm throughout the chilly months.

Why Winter Clothing Matters

The winter season can be particularly harsh in the regions we serve. Many children lack access to proper winter gear, making it challenging to stay warm and safe. At Mikinakoos, we believe that every child deserves the warmth of hope during the colder months. That's why we're launching this important campaign.

Join Us in Making a Difference

GivingTuesday is a global movement that encourages people to come together for a day of generosity and positive change. It's a day when we can all make a difference, no matter how big or small.

Here's how you can help:

  • Donate: Your contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to our $15,000 goal. Every dollar counts.

  • Spread the Word: Share our campaign on social media, with friends, family, and colleagues. Together, we can make a wider impact.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach GivingTuesday on November 28th.
